  Steve was very pleasant to work with. He did a wonderful job and followed through on the committment he made to restrap my chairs and return as he said he would do. I would definitely use his company again. (Betty)

  We contacted Bennett Restrapping the beginning of February inquiring if they could renew our patio furniture with new cushions and slings. We sent pictures and the owner, Steve, said they could do what we asked. We scheduled a pick-up and they picked up our patio furniture mid-February, 2014. We were originally told our furniture would be done towards the end of April, 2014. June 11, 2014 came and we still had not gotten our furniture back. It took a month to even get material samples sent to us - Steve kept saying they were sent in the mail. He lied. I finally called him and threatened to file a complaint. We finally received the samples two days later. We kept waiting for Steve to call telling us the patio furniture was completed. Two weeks later we call only to get excuses for the work not being done yet. We gave him more time. Never heard anything from him. We called again. Again, more excuses. He guaranteed to my husband that the work would be completed by June 10, 2014. Again, no call to us to confirm that. I made numerous calls and left messages. Steve will not return calls. I file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. We did find out that Steve did other jobs that came after he picked up our furniture while our furniture went untouched and waiting in his warehouse for months. He admitted this fact to us and apologized. Our calls and texts go unanswered and when we finally hear from Steve, we get more excuses on why the work is not completed. We give him more chances to get the work done. June 19, 2014 we ask for pictures of the slings he claims are made. We find out later those pictures were a lie. He had also told us our cushions were made. We found out that was a lie too. Steve promises us by July 1, 2014 work would be completed. July 1st comes and no furniture is delivered. We are ignored once again. We finally hear from Steve with more excuses and promises to deliver 3 pieces of our patio furniture July 12, 2014. We get that furniture and Steve promises to have the rest of the 7 pieces done the next week. It doesn't happen. More excuses. We finally say we are done with dealing with this situation and want all the furniture returned to us by July 25. Steve had been telling us he wasn't going to charge us anything for the work because of the way we were treated. Well, yesterday, July 25, 2014, Steve delivers the rest of our patio furniture, with new slings. And, guess what, he says he wants to be paid. So, that was another lie. We settle on paying half of what was owed, which, as far as we are concerned, he doesn't deserve. He has no integrity and we don't trust this guy at all. This whole ordeal was horrible and we hope we never go through something like this again. So our patio furniture sat in their warehouse for 5 months before anything was done and half the summer is over before we get to enjoy our patio furniture. No really fair, is it? I have seen the positive reviews and maybe Bennett Restrapping does a good job if it is a simple job of restrapping. Maybe he ran into some bad luck, but he had every opportunity to get the work on our patio furniture done back in April. We did not have a good experience. And, the work done on the 7 pieces with new slings was not well done. But, at least we got our furniture returned to us.
