  The customer service at this store is lackluster. I visited in hopes of finding a few yards of fabric for a reupholstery project. It took about 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge my presence and they were incredibly unhelpful. In these tough economic times there is really no room for staff who treat you as if you're below them. I came to see a specific fabric, which they would have to special order and to my surprise I found the same fabric at Hancock's, but 50% off. They carry decent lines, but nothing like brunswig & fils, etc. to merit that behavior.

  We have had several projects done with Calico (curtains in in all my kids' rooms, duvets, pillows, bench seats), and they have been fantastic. Sue and Christine went out of their way to make sure that our projects would be perfect. Sue, the manager, has even traveled to our house to make sure the measurements were perfect so things would come out right. They have tons of knowledge, and I know our projects would not have come out so wonderfully without their expertise!
