  I, a 30 year old male, was turned away from buying WINE for an Intro to Wine class I'm taking because I picked up my younger sister from work on the way and didn't MAKE her wait in the car on a snowy day. After entering the store, walking past several employees, being helped by 2 employees separately, and dragging my sister through the store for half an hour, the cashier and manager would not let me complete my purchase. The reason: "We don't know if you're buying that for her." A bottle of Chablis A.C. and a South Australian Unoaked Chardonnay??? I guess that's what every underage drinker asks for. I'm very disappointed in my experience and expected that had there been an issue, I would have been informed upon entering the store. I will be rethinking any possibility of making purchases from the Total Wine chain.
